A documentary exposing how the US/UK have poisoned Iraq with their use of weapons tipped with depleted uranium a.k.a. nuclear waste. What kind of sick society, instead of disposing of its nuclear waste in the normal regulated fashion, turns it into a bomb to be exploded in someone elses country? An award winning documentary film produced for German television by Freider Wagner and Valentin Thurn in 2004. The film exposes the use and impact of radioactive weapons during the current war against Iraq. The story is told by citizens of many nations. It opens with comments by two British veterans, Kenny Duncan and Jenny Moore, describing their exposure to radioactive, so-called depleted uranium (DU), weapons and the congenital abnormalities of their children. Dr. Siegwart-Horst Gunther, a former colleague of Albert Schweitzer, and Tedd Weyman of the Uranium Medical Research Center (UMRC) traveled to Iraq, from Germany and Canada respectively, to assess uranium contamination in Iraq.

Much was made at the time in the corporate(read compliant)media re-Patriot and so-called “smart bombs” facilitating US victory in Iraq in 1991.
In fact only 7% of the 88000 US tonnage dropped were guided.320 tons of DU was used 80% of that from A-10 tank-killer planes.By war’s end of 4280 only 580 Iraqi tanks remained.
Such was the chasm between US weapons technology and that of their opponents the body count read like a massacre with up to 100000 Iraqi soldiers and 35000 civilians versus 148 combat deaths and 145 non-combat US deaths.
This was the much-hyped stellar debut of the “radio-active kinetic penetrators” trumpeted by US top-brass.
The US form of the carnage inflicted on the Iraqis came later when their soldiers returned home and developed GWS.
This was something of a misnomer in that the very same illnesses were duplicated with the return of US soldiers from Yugoslavia where DU was also spread like jam in NATO air-strikes.
A UN resolution in 1996 that deemed DU ammunition as an illegal WMD stands today as another indication of the impotence and decrepitude that are hallmarks of that now defunct body.
The US has gone on to use such weaponry with devastating effect in its major theatre operations this century.Hundreds of thousands have died or are dying while the weapons industry and the central bankers grow unaccountably bloated on the profits.

God bless this man for exposing this horror.
My Grandfather worked at a genetis lab during WWII. He too was horrified by the inventions of man. Chimeric monstrosities were created in the name of science and many were euthanized. My own brother was one of these poor creatures. When he was born dead attached to his perfectly formed living brother, the obstetrician Dr. Patton fainted and hit his head on the delivery room floor. The underdeveloped and monstrously deformed child died soon after birth as its lungs were grossly deformed. Thank God my mother was unconcious. My Grandfather was called into the delivery room to deal with the tragedy as the doctor was afraid of how my father would react. My grandfather immediately called for cremation and burial of the poor creature and afterward all he would say about the matter was the quote from the Bible, “You have manufactured the ruin of your own house.”

This documentary highlights war crimes of staggering magnitude. The story ought to be headline news across the world, and the fact that most of the civilian population is held in ignorance cannot, in any sense, condone the barbarous military tactics of Western governments.
I applaud the documentary filmmakers for their bravery, objectivity and honesty in both researching and presenting incontrovertible evidence regarding the side-effects of depleted uranium munitions.
As an ordinary individual, I pray that such exposure will contribute to a worldwide ban on depleted uranium in any military settings whatsoever.
We have created a monstrous legacy, with a half-life of 4.5 million years, and history (if anyone survives to record it) will condemn us for being the most savage so-called “civilization” to inhabit poor, beleaguered planet Earth.
