Bad faith, Tom? Are you talking about the whole of Judaism or making a distinction for Zionism? That distinction is important, because most practicing Jews perceive the moral distinction between doing unto others and screaming bloody foul when they receive the same treatment in kind. I’ve noticed most Zionists, however, have a hard time with moral equivalents.

Which faith coined the Golden Rule? I’ll check my Joseph Campbell and get back to you, but I’m pretty certain it’s a universal religious principle except for the “Jewish Nation” who consider themselves exceptions to the rule.

Shame on you, Tom. It’s bad faith for you to blame Ahmadinejad for Israel’s putrefying morality. Changing the subject won’t work.

1) it doesn’t matter what the context – advocating ethnic cleansing and genocide is wrong.

2) If Ahmadinejad had made the comment (he didn’t) it would have been in “response to” 60 years of Palestinian oppression including the murder of many children. In other words – your argument legitimises the other side saying the same thing.

This was said in response to an eight-year-old Israeli boy having his leg blown off by a rocket from Gaza.

It is bad faith for you to compare this remark by a cabinet minister about a terrorist stronghold with the threat of the President of Iran against the Jewish nation.
