I imagine it will the old colonial trick of drawing up a vision for the future of Africa without involving any Africans or giving any consideration to a lifestyle that differs from the European model.

The South American and Islamic social Justice movements have moved ahead of mere templates to delivering on the ground and have also gone beyond into a new level of understanding their constituency in a true Modern sense.

The way forward for Euro/Nato-left is to study these movements and emulate them , not to preach Victorian values to them.

Personally i think the evolution of the Euro/Nato-Left from an out of date end -of -ideology template to a thriving social justice movement is beyond them for the very reason that it is the left in the Western world that are stuck in the Victorian age.
