Because he told them so. A clown from the Bush’s British Circus is apparently accompanying him on the tour, and from the uncritical way he reproduces Bush’s propaganda against Iran, it appears he is being kept on a short leash. Farther, he even makes a reference to something called the Arab “street” — yes that old Orientalist cliche: a disparaging reference to Arab public opinion.
