Musharraf has been aquitted and the election commission has accepted his nomination as a presidential candidate. Lawyers and Journalists were assaulted during a demonstration near the election commision building. We saw senior lawyers,journalists and politician being beated up brutally on live tv. Ironically this whole mess got very little an muted attention in the Western media.
