The Israel Lobby has claimed another victim. DePaul university has capitulated to Lobby pressure and Norman Finkelstein has been denied tenure. Since Alan Dershowitz spearheaded the campaign against Finkelstein, we should make a point to remind everyone how this charlatan was humiliated by Finkelstein on live TV and exposed as an ignorant plagiarist. The following debates are a must see. This is why the Zionists in general, and Dershowitz in particular, are so intimidated by Finkelstein. At any rate nothing will stand in the way of Prof Norm’s eloquent exposure of Israeli lies.
I’ve just clocked him on Democracy Now.He was as brilliantly cogent and clinical in his analyses as ever,thoroughly exposing another Israeli writer’s account of the 6 Day War as a partial and self-serving one.Are the Lobby and its acolytes capable of anything more?

I can’t say I’m surprised. Disappointed, yes; surprised, no.
I’m not desappointed at all. Maybe in a sense that ignorance and injustice prevailed. But that’s too small compared to our reality of ignorance and injustice.
The fact is that his books are out there. The fact is that the Isreali State is starting to loose its stand. The fact is that it is becoming a greater consense in the public opinion that Israel imposes apartheid like, or worse, conditions to the Palestinians.
It is all emerging. Slowly but surely Finkelstein’s credits will be rightfully delivered by history.
If one know the “rules of the game”, one with a publication track record as Finkelstein should actually take PRIDE in being denied tenure!
His books will sell better now! I hope.
