Avaaz.org was co-founded by the very dodgy Democratic Party front-group, MoveOn.org, so I wouldn’t waste my time signing any of their petitions. Besides, the message in itself is missing the point. What is needed is not ‘real talks’, but ‘real action’ — for Israel to withdraw from Occupied Territories, in compliance with international law. However, it is hard to dispute the rest of the message.
